Pizza Pilgrims is marking Easter with a series of hands-on pizza-making workshops designed especially for younger chefs to enjoy sharing, creating, and getting a little bit messy. Running across a handful of locations, the sessions offer a playful way for kids to get stuck into the art of pizza making during one of the most exciting times of the year.
Taking place across Brighton, Selfridges London, Canary Wharf and Manchester, each location brings its own flavour to the experience. ‘The Little Slice Pizza Class’ is designed for children aged 6–12, with each session guided by one of Pizza Pilgrims’ pizzaiolos. From rolling and stretching dough to decorating and eating their own creations, each class follows a hands-on format, with its own additional ingredients of fun depending on the venue.
At Canary Wharf and Selfridges, kids are guided by a pizzaiolo as they roll, stretch and top their own Margherita from scratch in the main class. Each session also includes chef hat decorating, plus a soft drink, ice cream and pizza box artwork to finish. Over in Brighton, alongside the main pizza-making class, the Bunny & Buddy ticket allows a parent to join in and make their own pizza too, along with a soft drink for the little one and a soft (or harder!) drink for the parent, while Manchester offers a more relaxed introduction to pizza making, with a sweet treat to finish up.
Pizza Pilgrims was founded in 2012 by brothers Thom and James, who travelled from Italy to London in a three-wheel Piaggio van to learn the craft of traditional pizza making. That sense of adventure and energy continues to define the brand today, with creative pizzerias, an adoring fanbase, and seasonal wow-factors like these Easter workshops that embody the spirit, food-focus, and creativity the vision was shaped around.
