Greenway Entertainment has unveiled the official trailer and release date for the highly anticipated supernatural thriller, Borley Rectory: The Awakening. The film is now available for digital download in the USA, and UK audiences can experience the haunting on DVD and digital from 13th October.
Based on true events, Borley Rectory: The Awakening revisits the chilling story of what’s been called the most haunted house in England. Set in 1900, the film follows Reverend Henry Bull and his sister Kitty as they take over the family home — only to be met with terrifying paranormal disturbances. As the haunting intensifies, the siblings must turn to a trusted family friend to uncover the dark origins behind the spirits that torment Borley Rectory.
A Legendary Cast of British Talent
The film features Julian Glover, the iconic actor known for his roles in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, and For Your Eyes Only. He stars alongside Patsy Kensit, celebrated for Lethal Weapon 2 and Absolute Beginners.
Joining the ensemble are Mark Wingett (Quadrophenia, The Bill), Vicki Michelle (’Allo ’Allo, Bermondsey Tales: Fall of the Roman Empire), Helen Lederer (Absolutely Fabulous), and Simon Phillips (Fubar, The Witcher).
