Our Guide To Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour with viagogo

Calling the Beyhive! Brace yourselves for Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour set to land in London. The extended five-date run at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium kicks off next week (29th May – 4th June). As the #1 touring artist in the UK based on total tickets sold on viagogo for 2023 concerts –  this legendary show isn’t one to miss.

If you are heading to the ‘Renaissance World Tour’ in the capital this month, here’s everything you need to know to make the most of Beyonce’s solo tour return, which comes after 7 long years.

Fans from over 90 countries are expected to land at the North London venue that has capacity to welcome over 60,000 fans according to ticket marketplace viagogo.

Ticket Info

If you’re lucky enough to have already grabbed a ticket, you will know that Beyonce has introduced a range of ticket packages. These are designed for superfans, who want to be front row – close enough to catch the costume sequins.

Beyonce’s ‘Club Renaissance’ package includes access to the standing ‘pit’ at the end of the runway, where fans can see the three-hour show up close. ‘B-Hive’ VIP tickets and Gold Circle are also located in the pit but on either side of the humongous main stage.

Regardless of where you sit, Beyonce’s stage design with its massive, mirrored screen means that you’ll never miss a moment.

If you haven’t secured a ticket yet, don’t fret as tickets are still available on viagogo for all five dates at face-value price. And if you aren’t able to make it anymore, you can quickly sell them and help another fan get closer to the action.

Getting to the Stadium

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is currently accessible by four different train stations including:

  • White Hart Lane (London Overground): approx. 5 mins walk to the stadium
  • Northumberland Park (Abellio Greater Anglia services): approx. 10 mins walk
  • Tottenham Hale (Victoria line and Abellio Greater Anglia services): approx. 25 mins walk
  • Seven Sisters (Victoria line and London Overground): approx. 30 min walk

Please note that there are train strikes from National Rail next week from the 31st May, 2nd and 3rd June so please head to the website to check which individual lines are affected on your chosen gig day.

What to wear

Our best piece of advice is to ensure you are wearing comfy shoes – although it might be tempting to wear towering 70’s platforms or a fresh pair of stiff Jordans, this concert is a three-hour marathon, not a sprint. Expect to walk and expect to dance!

If you’ve seen any of the clips circulating on social media – you will know that the theme is Aliens v Cowgirls with a disco flair. Channel your inner ‘alien superstar’ – it’s a night to celebrate and feel empowered! Think metallics, glitter and diamantes but also think cowboy hats. Essentially – if you’re not wearing any silver, you might feel left out.

Rumoured celebrity appearances

As the  originator of the surprise-drop visual album, Beyonce loves giving surprises that whip her fanbase into a frenzy. For the London run of the show, rumours have begun to circulate on social media that rapper Nicki Minaj could make a guest appearance.

Recently, the ‘Halo’ songstress, dropped a remix to ‘America has a Problem’ featuring rapper Kendrick Lamar. Some fans expect that K.Dot could join her at one of the Tottenham shows.

Last but not least, Jay Z is expected to grace the stage at some point or appear in a new interlude. The show is peppered with exclusive, never-seen-before video interludes to help with costume changes and provide mini (3-4 minute) intervals. A Jay Z appearance would naturally serve as a nod to the couple’s previous joint tours ‘On the Run’ I & II.

Pre-Gig Recommendation

  • The Beehive: Yes, you heard right. You can sip on a pre-drinks pint in a pub aptly named after Beyonce’s loyal fanbase. Located a short distance from the stadium, The Beehive is a charming pub where you’ll be sure to mingle with fellow Hive members before the show.

Food & Drink In The Stadium

  • There are over 60 outlets located throughout the stadium including bars and a great variety from London’s vibrant street food scene. Taste everything from traditional fish & chips, burgers to naans and noodles, pizza, burritos and much more.

Post-Gig Recommendations

  • Head to Finsbury Park for a night at legendary bowling alley Rowan’s. With vintage vibes to match your crew’s sparkling 70’s aesthetic, there’s plenty of arcade games and karaoke machines. Open until 2am on weekends, the dance floor is always packed with a fun atmosphere.
  • If you need a little beachy relaxation after the intensity of the show, head to Laki Kane in Islington for tropical cocktails, tiki-style decor and delicious Thai food. They close at 2.30am on Friday and Saturday so head there to compare tour highlights.

Prepare for an Unforgettable Experience

To make the most of this extraordinary event, here are a few quick suggestions to ensure an unforgettable night at London’s most popular tour of 2023, according to viagogo:

  • Arrive early: According to Tottenham Hotspur’s website, the doors open from 5pm. Give yourself ample time to navigate the venue, find your seats, and soak in the pre-show excitement.
  • Stay hydrated: It can get pretty heated inside a big dancing crowd, so be sure to stay properly hydrated to avoid feeling faint or having a raging hangover the next morning.
  • Stay connected: Follow Beyoncé and her tour on social media to receive real-time updates, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, and more.
  • Practise your vocals: Tour clips show that Beyonce expects her audiences to sing along and sing well. It’s crucial to practise hit songs like ‘Love on Top’, ‘I Care’ and ‘Virgo’s Groove – which all have notoriously difficult vocal key changes.
  • Capture the memories: Don’t forget your camera or smartphone to capture those magical moments. However, be sure to live in the moment and savour the experience.
