BACARDÍ Rum’s upcoming immersive pop-up experience transports visitors to the Caribbean

To celebrate the UK launch of the new Caribbean Spiced, BACARDÍ Rum is opening an immersive cocktail experience with the Caribbean Flavour Rooms to transport visitors to a tropical paradise next month.

A taste of the tropical islands to the city this unique experience will take cocktail lovers on a sensory journey through the tasting notes of the new BACARDÍ Caribbean Spiced product including pineapple, vanilla, coconut, and cinnamon.

Devised with sensory expert, Natalie Alibrandi, visitors that are 18+ will venture across rooms that are specially designed to engage with the sensory system. Expect all your senses to be stimulated in this interactive adventure which combines science with experimental cocktails curated to tantalise tastebuds.

First stop, ticket holders will leave the busy city behind as they walk into clouds of cinnamon and vanilla, immersing themselves in a sweet haze of aromas, designed to help you get into a holiday frame of mind, no baggage reclaim, or passport control required.

They’ll then enter the Coconut Chamber, a one-way ticket to the Caribbean shores. Surrounded by coconut palm trees, an ode to the home of BACARDÍ, this coconut haven will set tastebuds tingling as the coconut scent envelops the space and time changes from day to night.

The final stop on the journey will be through the pineapple party portal, a mirrored infinity room filled with pineapples. Heat, lighting, and music will give visitors the optimum Caribbean experience in this summer’s most snappable backdrop.

In classic BACARDÍ Rum style, the final room transports visitors to the ultimate Caribbean beach party complete with sets from some of London’s best DJs throughout the weekend.

Each room visit will come accompanied by a bespoke taster cocktail, created by some of London’s most talented bartenders including Erik Lorincz ofKwant, Sly Augustine of Trailer Happiness, and Georgi Radev of Laki Kane, to delight tastebuds and enhance the drinking experience in each room. The unique and delicious serves will also be made available in the final room, amongst other BACARDÍ cocktails, to continue the delectable journey to the tropics.
