Acclaimed burger brand and ‘finer diner’, Truffle Burger have just launched a new branch in London’s Marylebone and we were lucky enough to try out some of their latest offerings from their mouth-watering menu.
We chose to try both of their signature burgers – firstly, the Truffle Burger made with 90-day aged rare-breed British beef, melted raclette cheese, home-made fig jam, black-truffle mayonnaise served in a hand-made demi-brioche bun. The meat was both delicious and juicy which balanced beautifully with the sweet fig jam.
Secondly, we jumped into the fan favourite – the Truffle Honey Chicken Burger, with twice-coated buttermilk chicken thigh, bacon ketchup, truffle honey and whipped goats cheese. It was an utter delight and disappeared quicker than perhaps it should have.
We also tucked in to a couple of sides – ridiculously crispy Truffle + Parmesan Fries and BBQ Chicken bites, with the gorgeous truffle mayo.
The restaurant itself has a cool and relaxed style, with exposed brick and wood and black accents which adds to the laid back vibe. The staff are also absolutely lovely and we had great fun with Jasmine and Paris.
If you are shopping in Oxford Street or just in the St Christopher Place area, we thoroughly suggest popping into Truffle Burger for lunch or dinner.
