Foot Locker Europe reveals the new and exclusive Nike Tuned (TN) Brixton, the second in a series of exclusive Nike TN designs, inspired by some of the most exciting and culturally rich communities in Europe. Following the hugely popular TN Saint-Denis (Paris) sneakers released earlier this year, the TN Brixton celebrates the area as a melting pot of cultures, ethnicities and artistic expression.
Brixton was seen a clear choice for the UK’s community inspired TN sneakers as it closely aligns with Foot Locker’s commitment to community values and youth culture. The pride that Brixton elicits from its residents and its strong sense of culture dating back to the arrival of the Windrush generation in the mid-1900’s meant that Foot Locker and Nike were delighted to pay homage to the area with the new design. This also follows the opening of Foot Locker’s first community store in Brixton last year.
TN Brixton is available from Thursday 21st July, initially at the Foot Locker Brixton store so the local community can be the first to get their hands on the new sneaker.
The new stunning design is inspired by Brixton’s visual identity, featuring the vibrant colours synonymous with the area’s historic street art. Brixton’s spectacular murals, painted by local artists are reflected in the new TN sneakers through graffiti style graphics overlain onto a vibrant yellow, orange and blue colourway
Nike Tuned Brixton will be available exclusively at Foot Locker Brixton from 21st July, before then launching at Foot Locker stores and online across Europe from the 28th of July.
