NFL SIGN IG AS PRESENTING PARTNER OF NFL LONDON GAMES AND LEAD PARTNER OF NFL UK

The National Football League (NFL) have today announced IG as ‘Presenting Partner’ for the London Games 2022 and ‘Lead Partner’ for NFL UK. The partnership will see IG, a leading provider of online trading and investments, become an official partner of the NFL.

As part of the new partnership IG branding will be on display at the London Games this October, with IG fan experiences on gameday plus sponsorship of the gameday ‘Player of the Match Award’ voted on by fans in the stadium and the NFL One Pass app for gameday visitors.

In addition, IG will become lead sponsor of Sunday Night Football on Sky Sports, sponsor of NFL lifestyle programming on Sky Sports NFL and have sponsorship idents across two of the NFL London Games on ITV, as well as Super Bowl live and The NFL Show on Friday evenings on ITV.

NFL UK General Manager, Henry Hodgson said, “We are delighted to partner with IG as lead partner for NFL UK.  With three games being played in London in 2022, and a focus on growing the game at every level in the UK in the coming years, it is an exciting time of growth for the NFL here. The NFL London Games 2022 fixtures are as follows:

  • Sunday 2 October: Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
  • Sunday 9 October: New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
  • Sunday 30 October: Denver Broncos vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, Wembley Stadium
