MITRE REVEALS NEW EMIRATES FA CUP AND ADOBE WOMEN’S FA CUP BALL DESIGNS

British football brand Mitre has revealed its new Emirates FA Cup and Adobe Women’s FA Cup footballs for the 2024/25 season. The official ball supplier of both competitions, in partnership with The FA, is launching two new designs that will capture the attention of players and fans both on and off the pitch.

First up is the new look Mitre Emirates FA Cup Ultimax Pro design that celebrates the magic moments of the game. Recognising that the Emirates FA Cup is a competition loved by fans nationwide, Mitre taken inspiration from the homemade tin foil trophies held aloft in the stands on matchday, with striking silver accents. Enhanced by the bold ‘deltas’ (chevrons) cut through the ball design in the competition’s iconic red brand colour.

Then there is the new Adobe Women’s FA Cup Ultimax Pro design, a creative chaos of colour to truly stand out on pitch. Inspired by the creativity of the women’s game, the new look features abstract shapes and vibrant purple, lime and blue taken from the Adobe Women’s FA Cup brand colours.

New to the line-up this season, Mitre has introduced a new colourway for the Emirates FA Cup Ultimax Pro winter ball. A welcome throwback to 90s football and Mitre’s roots with its bold all-over fluo orange colouring. Come rain, wind or snow, this ball will be stand out for  players and fans throughout weather-trodden rounds of the competition.

The Ultimax Pro, used in all sponsored competitions, is an evolution of the Ultimax; a nod to Mitre’s history and deep heritage in the game. Built over decades of knowledge, the FIFA Quality Pro accredited ball uses unique four panel thermally bonded construction increasing that sweet spot for a cleaner strike.

Hyperflow debossed grooves improve in-flight dynamics and reduce drag for pinpoint passing, and the Hyperfoam mid-layer improves contact for a responsive first touch and exceptional close control. Incredible flight consistency, unbeatable shape retention and ultimate power.
