Glastonbury ticket day is almost here, and McDonald’s is giving festival hopefuls a helping hand with dedicated ‘Queue Hubs’, boosted free Wi-Fi and free food.
For millions of Glastonbury fans, ticket day is an annual ritual. The preparation begins weeks in advance, group chats start filling up, laptops and phones are charged, and everyone settles in for the nerve-wracking wait to get through the virtual queue.
Now, McDonald’s is looking to make that experience a little less stressful by opening three specially selected Glasto ‘Queue Hubs’, giving hopeful festivalgoers somewhere to settle in, connect to stronger free Wi-Fi and attempt to secure their tickets together.
Where Are the McDonald’s Glasto Queue Hubs?
The three McDonald’s restaurants have been selected in areas that have historically been associated with lower Glastonbury ticket success rates, with home broadband speeds cited as one of the factors behind the selection.
On Sunday 4th October, from 8:30am until 11am, Glastonbury hopefuls can head to one of the dedicated Queue Hubs and swap their home broadband connection for McDonald’s free Wi-Fi while tackling the ticket queue.
The first 100 customers at each participating restaurant will also be able to redeem a voucher for a free selected meal or menu item, helping fans stay fuelled during the ticket scramble.
The participating restaurants are:
- Harlow The Oaks Retail Park – Unit 7, The Oaks Retail Park, Harlow, CM20 2AB
- Wythenshawe Civic Centre – Unit 13, Rowlandsway, Wythenshawe, M22 5RG
- Warminster – 2 Castlemore Retail Park, Warminster, BA12 9FE
So, whether you’re heading to Worthy Farm with friends or simply trying to get your hands on a ticket from your local McDonald’s, the Queue Hubs are designed to give fans somewhere to settle in for the all-important ticket drop.

A Little Help for the Glasto Ticket Scramble!
Glastonbury ticket day has become almost as famous for its frantic online queue as the festival itself. With thousands of hopeful festivalgoers attempting to secure tickets at the same time, a reliable internet connection can feel just as important as having your payment details ready.
McDonald’s Queue Hubs are designed to give fans an alternative place to attempt the ticket drop, combining free Wi-Fi with somewhere to sit and, for the first 100 customers at each location, some food to keep them going.
And for those staying at home, the McDonald’s App offers another way to make the stressful morning slightly more enjoyable.
With tickets, Wi-Fi and breakfast all on the agenda, Glastonbury hopefuls now have one more thing to add to their ticket-day preparation checklist.
