WINGSTOP UK BRINGS BACK FAN-FAVOURITE HOT HONEY WITH NEW HOT HONEY SRIRACHA!

Wingstop UKI is turning up the heat this autumn as its fan-favourite Hot Honey returns alongside brand-new Hot Honey Sriracha, giving sweet-and-spicy fans two reasons to visit.

There are few flavour combinations quite as satisfying as sweet and spicy, and Wingstop UK is leaning all the way into the trend with the return of one of its most-requested flavours.

From 30 September 2026, Wingstop restaurants across the UK and Ireland will welcome back Hot Honey, while introducing Hot Honey Sriracha for the first time. However, fans will need to move quickly, as both flavours will only be available for 90 days.

Hot Honey Is Back!

Hot Honey has become something of a cult favourite among Wingstop fans, and its return comes after months of requests across social media.

For its latest comeback, Wingstop has also given the sauce a new and improved recipe, combining warm, golden honey with a slow-building chilli kick.

The result is a flavour that starts sweet before delivering a warming hit of spice, making it an option for anyone who likes a little heat without overpowering the sweetness.

The flavour’s popularity has been particularly visible across TikTok and Instagram, where fans have repeatedly called for its return.

One Instagram commenter summed up the demand rather directly, writing: “Stop being silly and bring it back.”

Well, the message appears to have been received.

Meet Hot Honey Sriracha!

If the returning Hot Honey isn’t quite spicy enough, Wingstop is also introducing something new.

Hot Honey Sriracha takes the sweet-and-spicy formula and turns the heat up another notch, combining honey’s sweetness with the distinctive garlicky kick of Sriracha.

It is designed for fans who enjoy a more intense level of spice, while still retaining the balance between sweetness and heat that makes Hot Honey such a popular combination.

Whether you’re sticking with the returning classic or heading straight for the new, hotter option, both flavours are designed to bring something extra to Wingstop’s wings and boneless offerings.

Why Is Sweet and Spicy So Popular?

Wingstop’s latest launch also taps into a wider appetite for contrasting flavours.

According to new research commissioned by Wingstop, 78% of Brits say they actively seek out flavour combinations that bring sweetness and heat together.

That figure rises to 84% among Gen Z consumers, highlighting the growing popularity of sweet-and-spicy food among younger diners.

The trend has become increasingly visible across menus and social media, with spicy honey-inspired sauces and hot-and-sweet combinations appearing across everything from chicken and pizza to snacks and desserts.

Wingstop’s latest launch puts its own spin on the combination, giving customers two different levels of heat to choose from.

Wingstop Says Fans Asked for It!

Dirujan Sabesan, Chief Brand Officer at Wingstop UKI, said the return of Hot Honey was heavily influenced by the reaction from customers online.

“Some of our best menu decisions start in the comments section. Hot Honey is one of the flavours fans have asked for most since it left, so it’s back and with an unexpected spicy twist,” Sabesan said.

“Hot Honey Sriracha is our answer to everyone who wanted the same sweetness with even more flavour.”

It’s a fitting approach for a flavour that has already built a following among Wingstop’s social media audience, with the brand’s fans making their desire for its return particularly clear.

When Can You Get Wingstop Hot Honey?

Both Hot Honey and Hot Honey Sriracha launch on 30 September 2026 and will be available for 90 days only.

The flavours will be available at Wingstop restaurants across the UK and Ireland, as well as through Deliveroo.

Prices start from £8.50 for eight wings or boneless, giving chicken fans the chance to try either of the limited-time flavours while they last.

With Hot Honey returning after months of fan demand and Hot Honey Sriracha bringing an entirely new level of heat, Wingstop’s latest menu drop looks set to make autumn a little spicier.

Just don’t wait too long — once the 90-day window closes, these limited-edition flavours will be gone.
