Marston’s has teamed up with Jeremy Clarkson’s award-winning Hawkstone brewery to launch a brand-new Hawkstone IPA & Beef Pie, arriving in almost 500 pubs across the UK for a limited time.
Fans of classic British pub food have a new reason to visit their local this summer, as Marston’s Pubs has partnered with Hawkstone, the British beer brand founded by Jeremy Clarkson, to introduce an indulgent new Hawkstone IPA & Beef Pie across 498 pubs nationwide.
Available from 3 August, the limited-edition dish brings together premium British ingredients with one of England’s most celebrated IPAs, creating a hearty pub meal inspired by traditional British cooking.
A Classic Pub Favourite With A Hawkstone Twist
The new pie features British diced beef and pulled beef cheek, slow-cooked in a rich gravy infused with Hawkstone IPA. It’s combined with seasonal vegetables and Barber’s Cheddar before being wrapped in buttery shortcrust pastry.
Guests can enjoy the pie alongside seasonal vegetables, generous servings of extra gravy and either chips or mashed potato, depending on the participating Marston’s pub.
For those looking to complete the experience, bottles of Hawkstone IPA will also be available to enjoy alongside the meal.
Celebrating British Farming And Local Ingredients
Founded in 2021 by Jeremy Clarkson, Hawkstone has built its reputation on producing award-winning beer using barley sourced from British farms.
The brewery says its mission is to support British agriculture, with every pint helping increase demand for British-grown barley. That philosophy continues through this collaboration with Marston’s, bringing the brand to hundreds of pubs across England, Scotland and Wales.
The beer itself has earned widespread recognition, with Hawkstone IPA being named England’s Best IPA at the 2025 World Beer Awards, thanks to its balance of tropical and citrus flavours alongside rich malt character and a refreshing hop bitterness.
Limited-time Menu Addition
Speaking about the collaboration, Andy Cross, Sales Director at Hawkstone, said the partnership reflects the brewery’s ongoing commitment to supporting British farmers while bringing great British food and drink together.
Meanwhile, Kiran Bains, Director of Brand Activation at Marston’s, said the company was excited to give customers a fresh take on one of Britain’s best-loved pub dishes while introducing more guests to Hawkstone IPA.
With the pie available for a limited period only, those wanting to try the collaboration are encouraged to visit participating pubs before it disappears from menus.
