LEWIS HAMILTON UNVEILS PLUS44’S BOLD ‘VEGAS DAZE’ COLLECTION IN COLLABORATION WITH ILLUSTRATOR RALPH STEADMAN

Seven-time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton is expanding his creative universe once again with the launch of his boldest Plus44 drop to date. Teaming up with legendary British illustrator Ralph Steadman—best known for his chaotic, ink-splattered artwork for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas—the new Vegas Daze capsule fuses counterculture art with contemporary streetwear in a way only Hamilton could orchestrate.

The collection arrives as one of Plus44’s most ambitious collaborations yet, marking Steadman’s first major fashion partnership and injecting his anarchic, unmistakable style directly into wearables and collectables.

A Collision of Fashion, Art, and Chaos

Steadman’s iconic illustrations for Hunter S. Thompson’s 1971 classic Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas serve as the creative backbone of the capsule. Translating the frenetic inkwork into fashion, the collection blurs the line between fine art and streetwear, bringing Steadman’s surreal world to life through Plus44’s signature silhouettes.

The collaboration features both newly commissioned original artwork and reimagined versions of some of Steadman’s most visceral designs—each one created exclusively for Plus44.

Hamilton explains the creative energy behind the partnership:

“This collab is all about pushing boundaries. Ralph’s work is bold and fearless—exactly the energy we wanted to bring. After seeing the love for the Rodeo drop, we knew we had to keep surprising people. This one’s unexpected in the best way. I’m honoured to work with Ralph, and I can’t wait to see it come to life in Vegas.”

Steadman adds:

“I’ve spent decades spilling ink across pages—now it’s landed on clothes. It’s messy, loud, and a bit mad. Working with Lewis and Plus44 has been a real honour—they’ve given my art a whole new way to run wild.”

Inside the ‘Vegas Daze’ Collection

The lineup is packed with statement pieces that channel the psychedelic chaos of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas while staying grounded in Plus44’s wearable streetwear DNA.

Key pieces include:

  • Short-sleeve boxy tees and long-sleeve jersey tops featuring Steadman’s exclusive artwork

  • Tie-dye pieces inspired by the film’s distorted neon palette

  • Blue swim trunks, a red-and-white graphic button-up, and a bucket hat nodding to Dr. Gonzo’s eccentric desert wardrobe

  • Oversized hoodies, 5-panel caps, and a sleek black zip-up jacket printed with collaborative Steadman +44 branding

Accessories drop:

  • Custom dice set illustrated by Steadman

  • Tie-dye ripstop shoulder bag

  • Acid-yellow beach towel

  • Red and yellow visors channeling the film’s iconic colour scheme

Fans of Hamilton’s previous Plus44 collections—especially the hugely popular Rodeo drop—will find this one even more daring, artistic, and collectable.

Pop-Up Launch in Las Vegas

The Vegas Daze collection debuts exclusively at a four-day Plus44 pop-up located beside XS Nightclub at Encore Esplanade, Las Vegas, from 19–22 November.

Visitors can expect an immersive space that mirrors Steadman’s surreal, hallucinatory visual world. Part-gallery, part-boutique, the installation promises to be an artistic fever dream in true Vegas fashion.

Global Online Release

For anyone unable to attend the pop-up, the full collection goes live at: https://plus44.world on 20 November (6pm BST / 10am PST).
