Kimpton Fitzroy Creates South of France Escape on The Terrace with Minuty Rosé

Kimpton Fitzroy London has transformed the hotel’s historic courtyard into The Terrace, a seasonal retreat inspired by the South of France. This collaboration with Minuty Rosé invites guests to experience the elegance of Provence through a curated selection of drinks and refined small plates, in a distinctive alfresco offering that captures the leisurely spirit of the Riviera Summer, and its effortless flair.

The drink menu centres on Minuty’s finest Côtes de Provence rosés, with Minuty M, Prestige magnums, and its premium cuvées, Rose et Or and 281. Exclusive cocktails such as the spicy tequila-based Nice to Meet You and the Minuty Rosé Old Fashioned are also on offer, along with the sweeter La Vie En Rosé which offers a fresh blend of Belvedere Vodka, Minuty Rosé, Lychee, and Honey.

Accompanying these are refined small plates and sandwiches, including a Native Lobster Brioche Roll with Café de Paris butter and lemon aioli, and the Focaccia Open Sandwich with fresh grilled tomatoes, pesto, mozzarella, and a tangy balsamic glaze. A charcuterie board and luxurious seafood selections, including Carlingford Lough oysters and Sturia Oscietra caviar blinis, also make for the perfect pairing for a glass of crisp wine or signature cocktail.

The Terrace is set within Kimpton Fitzroy’s open-air courtyard, with soft festoon lighting and hydrangea arrangements creating an elegant and relaxed environment. The space is draped with vines and adorned with nods to the Côte d’Azur, and a retractable roof ensures the setting remains comfortable regardless of weather.

Kimpton Fitzroy London occupies a Grade II-listed building originally designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll in 1898, blending historic architecture with contemporary luxury. The hotel houses three restaurants and bars, alongside popular event spaces and 334 rooms. The understated elegance is reflected in their choice of partner, Minuty Rosé, a family-run estate in Provence since 1936 which remains committed to sustainable, hand-harvested production.

The Terrace will be open daily from 12:00 to 21:30, with last bookings at 20:00 and last orders at 20:45. Reservations are recommended and can be made through the hotel’s website.

You can find The Terrace at Kimpton Fitzroy London, 1-8 Russell Square, London WC1B 5BE. Browse the food and drinks menus, and book your South of France escape from the heart of Bloomsbury right here.
