Kicking Goat is stepping into the new season with two fresh releases, expanding its range with both an alcohol-free option and a lighter, more seasonal serve. The award-winning craft producer introduces Kicking Goat Zero alongside a new Elderflower & Mint cider, tapping into the growing demand for both low-alcohol alternatives and more refined flavour profiles.
Kicking Goat Zero delivers the familiar character of a well-made cider, with crisp apple aromas, fresh fruit notes and a balanced sweetness – designed to offer the same depth and drinkability but without the alcohol, making it an easy swap for those looking to moderate without compromising on familiar flavours. Alongside it, Elderflower & Mint brings a lighter, more aromatic profile, blending fresh-pressed apple juice with floral elderflower and a subtle lift of mint for a clean, crisp, and refreshing profile, ideal for warmer days and long, easy evenings.
Both ciders are rooted in Kicking Goat’s flavour-first approach, using 100% fresh-pressed British apples sourced from family-owned orchards in Somerset and Kent. The focus is on quality ingredients and delicate balance, allowing the natural character of the fruit to take lead. Founder James Pearce has been working towards the alcohol-free launch for several years, with a clear aim to challenge the perception that non-alcoholic ciders fall short on taste.
Kicking Goat operates around the principles of small-batch production and a straightforward approach to cider making. Using dessert apple varieties harvested at their peak, the brand focuses on clarity of flavour and consistency in every bottle. Its ciders are modern in style but grounded in traditional methods, with an emphasis on keeping things simple and well executed – especially setting the brand apart from the rest when it comes to seasonally-targeted releases that require precision and balance to bring out the best of the Springtime flavours.
Soon to be arriving to pubs, hotels and speciality shops nationally, Kicking Goat Zero and Elderflower & Mint are priced at £38.00 per case (12 bottles), and can be purchased right here.
