As temperatures continue to soar across the UK, KFC is taking refreshment to the streets with the launch of its first-ever Kwench ‘Thirst Responder’, a striking hot-pink vehicle touring London to serve its new speciality drinks menu.
The limited-time activation arrives following the success of KFC’s recently launched Matcha range and will make stops at BOXPARK Shoreditch and Hackney Bridge between 6 and 8 August, giving visitors the chance to sample a variety of iced beverages designed for the summer heat.

Visitors can expect a menu featuring ten refreshing beverages, including:
- Strawberry Shortcake Matcha
- Iced Tiramisu Latte
- Strawberry Boba Refresher
- Sparkling Cloudy Lemonade
- Caramel Krunch Shake
- Chocolate Krunch Shake
- Strawberry Shortcake Krunch Shake
The Strawberry Shortcake Matcha combines vanilla syrup, real strawberry purée and crunchy shortcake pieces with matcha supplied by PerfectTed, while the Iced Tiramisu Latte offers a dessert-inspired twist on classic iced coffee.

KFC Continues Expanding Its Drinks Offering
While KFC has long been known for its fried chicken, the brand has increasingly expanded its drinks menu to include speciality coffees, matcha beverages and boba-inspired refreshers aimed at younger consumers looking for trend-led refreshments.
The Kwench range represents one of the company’s biggest beverage launches in recent years and follows its wider investment strategy in the UK and Ireland. In 2025, KFC announced plans to invest £1.5 billion over five years, creating more than 7,000 jobs and opening hundreds of new restaurants across the country.
