JEREMY CLARKSON IS GROWING A CAR IN NEW CLARKSON’S FARM SPECIAL!

Jeremy Clarkson is heading back to his automotive roots for a brand-new Clarkson’s Farm special – and this time, he’s attempting to grow a car.

Jeremy Clarkson is swapping the fields of Diddly Squat for four wheels in a bizarre new Clarkson’s Farm special that will see the presenter attempt to build a car using materials grown on his own farm.

Titled Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson’s Farm Special, the one-off episode has been greenlit by Prime Video and will combine Clarkson’s two great passions: farming and cars.

The special is set to arrive exclusively on Prime Video in 2027, launching in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Jeremy Clarkson Is Growing His Own Car!

Over the course of Clarkson’s Farm, Jeremy has attempted to grow and produce everything from wheat and barley to potatoes, mushrooms and even wasabi.

Now, however, he has set himself perhaps his most ambitious farming project yet: growing a car.

Rather than simply buying a new vehicle, Clarkson has decided to build one himself, using produce and materials from Diddly Squat Farm.

The starting point for the project is a Jaguar F-Type V6S, chosen by Clarkson as a car that combines the analogue driving experience he loves with the practicality of a modern sports car.

However, this won’t be a straightforward restoration.

Alongside creating a bespoke interior using his own farm-produced leather and wool carpets, Clarkson will attempt to grow flax and transform it into a flax-composite material.

The material is being explored as a more sustainable alternative to traditional carbon fibre, with the potential to be used in automotive manufacturing.

Ian Callum Is Helping Clarkson Redesign the Jaguar!

To make the ambitious project a reality, Clarkson will be joined by one of the UK’s most celebrated automotive designers, Ian Callum CBE.

Callum is the founder of design and engineering company CALLUM and was responsible for the original design of the Jaguar F-Type as well as the Aston Martin Vanquish.

Together, Clarkson and Callum will transform the Jaguar into a car reflecting Clarkson’s vision of what a modern British performance car should represent: style, luxury and performance.

The collaboration also gives the special a direct connection to Clarkson’s long-standing career in motoring, bringing him back to the world that made him a household name before Clarkson’s Farm turned him into one of Britain’s most recognisable farmers.

From Top Gear to Diddly Squat!

While Clarkson is now best known for his life at Diddly Squat Farm, the new special is set to reconnect him with his automotive roots.

Clarkson’s Farm originally followed the presenter as he attempted to run a 1,000-acre working farm, with the series becoming one of Prime Video’s biggest British hits. The fifth series launched earlier in 2026, while series six is scheduled to arrive in 2027.

The new special offers something slightly different, bringing the farming world of Diddly Squat together with the automotive enthusiasm that defined much of Clarkson’s earlier television career.

And, naturally, Clarkson isn’t approaching the challenge quietly.

His frustration with increasingly technology-heavy modern cars has inspired the idea of creating a vehicle that brings back some of the excitement and character he feels can be lost behind modern motoring technology.

When Is Jeremy Grows a Car Coming to Prime Video?

Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson’s Farm Special will be released exclusively on Prime Video in 2027.

An exact release date has not yet been announced, but the special will be available across more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

The first five seasons of Clarkson’s Farm are currently available to stream on Prime Video, giving fans plenty of time to catch up with Jeremy, Kaleb, Lisa and the rest of the Diddly Squat team before the new automotive experiment arrives.

With Clarkson’s Farm season six also arriving in 2027, it’s shaping up to be another busy year for Diddly Squat.

But whether Jeremy Clarkson can actually turn a crop of flax, some farm-grown leather and a Jaguar F-Type into the car of his dreams remains to be seen.

One thing is certain: Jeremy Clarkson is growing a car – and we’re very interested to see how this one turns out.
