Valentine’s Day Wining, Dining, & Delighting at 19 Motcomb Street

19 Motcomb Street has rapidly become one of London’s most sought-after dining spots. Formerly known as the Pantechnicon, this Belgravia landmark was recently transformed into a fresh destination of culinary luxury, housing three standout venues: chic Provençal restaurant Amélie, refined Japanese dining experience SACHI, and LUUM, the opulent late-night lounge. Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to explore the hotspots, and dive into their special (and very limited time) Valentine’s menus.

Amélie

Amélie is all about capturing the spirit of the French Riviera. With a grand ground-floor dining room, an intimate mezzanine, and a chic outdoor terrace reminiscent of the Côte d’Azur, it’s an escape to the Mediterranean in the heart of London. Led by Head Chef Steve Raveneau, the menu celebrates the bold, sun-soaked flavours of Provence, featuring impeccably sourced ingredients and a carefully curated wine selection.

For Valentine’s Day, Amélie presents a decadent five-course menu priced at £145 per person. Guests are welcomed with an amuse-bouche before savouring a luxurious selection, including Steak Tartare with Oscietra Caviar and a Crab Bun with Espelette Beurre Blanc. Mains offer a choice between British Wagyu Pithivier or Cod with Saffron Bouillabaisse Sauce, complemented by sides like Ratatouille. The meal concludes with a stunning Rhubarb & White Chocolate Heart. For those celebrating friendship on Galentine’s Day, a £95 menu offers equally impressive dishes, including Yellowtail Tartare, Whole Grilled Sea Bass, and Truffle Mash.

SACHI

SACHI, located on the second floor of 19 Motcomb Street, takes on a refined but vibrant take on Japanese dining. Inspired by the kappo ryori style, which balances precision with warmth, it offers everything from omakase experiences to masterfully crafted sushi, sashimi, and robata-grilled dishes. The intimate setting, coupled with its rooftop bar and sake-focused cocktail menu, makes SACHI the destination for those who want to explore the elegance of Japanese cuisine in a sophisticated modern environment.

The special Valentine’s Day menu, at £120 per person, showcases the finest ingredients in a selection of dishes that highlight some of the restaurant’s best dishes and flavours, along with some twists. Guests will be treated to delicacies such as Hokkaido Scallop with Foie Gras and Crispy Leek, a beautifully presented Sushi & Seafood Chef’s Selection Platter, and melt-in-the-mouth Japanese A5 Wagyu. The meal ends on a sweet romantic note with a Milk Chocolate Heart, a chocolate mousse dessert with sobacha crèmeux, and whisky ice cream.

With both Valentine’s destinations, the menus include a complimentary cocktail at 19 Motcomb’s new late-night lounge LUUM, which draws on its Mexican heritage and the natural world to serve up stunning cocktails amidst its deep colours and rich textures. With an exclusive selection of fine spirits, a weekly lineup of live DJs, and intimate private snugs for those seeking a more secluded experience, this is the perfect place to start or end your night –  during Valentine’s Day and beyond.

You can find Amélie, SACHI, and LUUM at 19 Motcomb Street, London SW1X 8LB.
