Slim Chickens, the renowned US-born and raised chicken brand on a mission to serve the best freshly prepared and cooked to order chicken on the market, is continuing to take the UK by storm with four new restaurants opening simultaneously on 4th July, aka Slimdependence Day, in Leicester, Liverpool, Milton Keynes and London’s Bishopsgate. To celebrate, Slims will also be touring the world’s smallest Slims restaurant across the UK ahead of the four launches.
Bringing Slim Chickens’ UK portfolio up to 26 sites, following recent openings in Brighton, Devon and Bristol, the latest phase in part of an ambitious expansion pipeline from parent multi-hospitality brand business, Boparan Restaurant Group. Growth is set to continue later in the year with additional restaurants alongside non-traditional openings with a roll out of drive-through locations also planned.
The openings form part of the group’s celebrations for the Fourth of July and in addition to offering £4 tenders at Slim Chickens nationwide, the group will also be going back to its roots and hitting the road with the World’s Smallest Slim Chickens. The mobile mini 150 sq feet restaurant is set to tour the streets of London, Leicester, Liverpool and Milton Keynes from 30th June – 3rd July ahead of the bricks and mortar sites opening. As well as dining in the pop-up, customers and passers-by will be invited to play a round of ‘Slim Pong’ to be in with the chance of winning a host of prizes including £4,444 of Slim Chickens vouchers, and a dining experience with YouTube personality, host and performer, Chunkz.
