JENKI is marking the launch of its debut recipe book, Matcha at Home, with a weekend giveaway of more than 500 Blueberry Pie Matcha Lattes for lucky Londoners across its city-wide network of bars.
Over three days between 30th April and 2nd May, the limited-edition Blueberry Pie Matcha Latte will be served across all six JENKI locations in Spitalfields, Covent Garden, Canary Wharf, Battersea Power Station, Borough Market and Selfridges. Each site will give away 30 drinks per day, released on a first come, first served basis.
The drink itself comes straight from the pages of the new book, giving its cult following a chance to taste test an eagerly anticipated recipe in real life. For those visiting Selfridges over the weekend, they’ll also be able to view the brand’s newly redesigned matcha bar as an extra special treat.
JENKI was founded in 2020 by Claudia and Otto Boyer, who set out to reframe matcha as a daily ritual rather than a niche order. After struggling to find high-quality matcha in the UK, they travelled to Japan to source directly from producers, building relationships and refining their standards along the way. With blends chosen specifically for colour, aroma, and texture, the low bitterness, creamy matcha remains flavour-first and extra whiskable – keeping Jenki firmly at the forefront of the formidable matcha movement in the city.
You can get your hands on one of over 500 free Blueberry Pie Matcha Lattes between 30th April and 2nd May, across JENKI’s Spitalfields, Covent Garden, Canary Wharf, Battersea Power Station, Borough Market and Selfridges locations. Find out more about JENKI right here.
