London’s best-kept secret is set to thrill audiences once again this month, this time, transporting them to the heart of 1950s Havana in what may be its most dazzling show yet. Having already drawn Hollywood stars like Margot Robbie and Helena Bonham Carter into its spellbinding experiences, the Lost Estate has captivated Londoners and beyond with its breathtaking immersive productions, merging world-class theatre, live music, and flawless dining into truly unforgettable nights.
This electrifying instalment brings the golden age of Cuban nightlife roaring back to life, through rhythm, romance, and unmatched revelry. At the heart of Paradise Under the Stars is the legendary Tropicana nightclub, a hotspot once graced by icons like Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and Celia Cruz. The show reimagines a glittering Havana night, where guests are swept into a world of sultry Latin music, dazzling choreography, and vibrant storytelling.
The Lost Estate has assembled a once-in-a-generation lineup of Cuban talent, with co-musical director Yelfris Valdés and choreographer Luanda Pau – whose mother helped shape Tropicana’s dance legacy in the 1980s – infusing every rhythm, movement, and moment of Paradise Under the Stars with Cuban authenticity and soul.
The Lost Estate experience is as much about the show as it is about the feast, and this production draws on inspiration from grand banquet menus of Havana’s most iconic venues – from San Souci to Monsignor, and of course the Tropicana itself. Executive Chef Ash Clarke (formerly of Temper, SMOKESTAK, and Gordon Ramsay at The Savoy) has crafted a menu that blends European finesse, American swagger, and Cuban soul, cooking up dishes such as Lechón Asado (Mojo Marinated Loin of Pork), Hoja de Plátano (Bream in Banana Leaf), and El Cubano (a traditional Cuban club sandwich). The Club Bar, Los Jardines, will be serving up an irresistible selection of tropical rum cocktails, including daiquiris just as Hemingway liked them – straight-up, frozen, or ‘Papa Doble.’
Founded in 2017, The Lost Estate has redefined immersive entertainment in West London and far beyond, turning classic tales into acclaimed multi-sensory spectacles. From The Great Christmas Feast to the roaring jazz of 58th Street, their productions skilfully blur the line between audience and performer, placing guests at the heart of the story in the most thrilling fashion. Helmed by classical musicians-turned-visionaries Eddy Hackett, Rowan Bell, and Will Kunhardt, The Lost Estate has successfully established itself as an absolute must-book spectacle where theatre, music, and fine dining take the stage for truly unforgettable experiences.
