This summer, Birmingham is set to be buzzing with excitement as Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey joins forces with Birmingham Cocktail Weekend (BCW) from 10th – 13th July. Now in its 11th year, BCW is the city’s largest cocktail festival, celebrating Birmingham’s vibrant bar scene – and this year promises to be sweeter than ever.
This year, festival-goers can kick off their blissfully sweet BCW weekend of fun at The Jack Daniel’s Honey Hub at Hotel du Vin where visitors will be indulged in deliciousness from the very start of their experience.
As part of the festivities, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey has also teamed up with Medicine Bakery to create an indulgent, limited-edition treat, Jack Daniel’s Honeycomb Bun. This exclusive collaboration combines the bold flavours of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey with Medicine Bakery’s signature craftsmanship, offering festival-goers a one-of-a-kind sweet experience.
Start Your Journey at The Jack Daniel’s Honey Hub
The Jack Daniel’s Honey Hub at Hotel du Vin is where the BCW adventure really begins. Festival attendees can swap their e-tickets for a wristband and pick up a handy guidebook to navigate the weekend’s events.
Visitors to the Honey Hub on Thursday, Friday or Saturday can enjoy a complimentary sample of the spirit, a unique tipple that masterfully blends timeless craftsmanship with modernity. Plus, the first 20 wristband collectors each day will receive a special treat from Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, so arrive early to start your cocktail with a sweet bonus!
Festival go-ers will then set off on a cocktail adventuring – discovering the city, one sip at a time. There are 46 participating bars this year, with each one serving up a special £6 cocktail (and £5 mocktail) exclusively for wristband wearers. Five of those bars are serving up a delicious Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey cocktail.

The Sweet Details
The Jack Daniel’s Honeycomb Bun is a decadent brioche creation rolled with a rich filling of honey, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, butter, and sugar, baked to perfection for a caramelised finish. It’s covered with a Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey glaze, filled with a luscious Jack Daniel’s crèmeux (a blend of crème pâtissière, double cream, and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey), and topped with a crunchy honeycomb crumble. The treat will be available exclusively at all four Medicine Bakery locations throughout the festival.

Beyond the Honey Hub, Jack Daniel’s Honey cocktails will be served at some of Birmingham’s most exciting venues; Sandbox VR, Tonight Josephine, Medicine and Merlin’s Café Bar. Each venue will offer a unique twist on this versatile spirit, ensuring there’s something for every palate.
This year there’s a full programme of events for cocktail lovers to enjoy across the weekend including the opportunity to join artist Felicity Blades to design and paint their very own cowboy hat. Attendees can enjoy a second tasty Jack Daniel’s Honey cocktail as their artistic flair flourishes and later on they will get to try a shot tail too.
