This month Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey will be teaming up with popular BBQ duo From The Ashes, and the award-winning East London brewery, Five Points Brewing, to bring the fire to Hackney in celebration of BBQ Week 2024.
The partnership promises an extraordinary celebration featuring a bespoke, whiskey-infused menu and expertly crafted cocktail pairings, all highlighting the intricate flavours of Uncle Nearest Whiskey.
The collaboration will transport guests to Uncle Nearest’s hometown, Tennessee, celebrating BBQ food that is synonymous with Western culture. In a flavourful fusion of spirits and food, meat and whiskey enthusiasts are invited to join the National BBQ Week celebrations in the sunny courtyard that is home to Five Points Brewing and From The Ashes.
The limited-edition menu will run over two weeks bringing specially curated dishes cooked on the open fire BBQ and infused with the rich notes of America’s most award-winning whiskey, Uncle Nearest.
The food offering boasts three special creations using Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey and Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Whiskey. Dishes include the Bourbon Braised Caramelised Onion and Ogleshield Empanada; larger feasting plates of Grilled Bavette Steak with a Smoked Bourbon, Green Peppercorn & Tarragon Sauce; Sticky Bourbon BBQSmoked Short-Rib with Charred Oyster Mushrooms.
Five Points Brewing presents an exclusive Uncle Nearest cocktail pairing for each dish. Crafted to enhance the flavours, the three cocktails include an Apricot Whiskey Sours, made using Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Whiskey. Hackney Lemonade, Five Points Brewing’s take on a Lynchburg Lemonade made using Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey, and the Uncle Nearest x From The Ashes Pickleback, a mix of Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey and From The Ashes Signature Pickle Juice.

Available over eight days, across two celebratory weeks, consumers will be able to indulge in the special menu from May 23rd to 26th and May 30th to June 2nd. Opening its doors on Thursday and Friday evenings, and all day on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. Prices below:
