A Chocolate-and-Flower Experiment Led by Master Distiller Lesley Gracie
The creation of Another Hendrick’s was led by Master Distiller Lesley Gracie, who set out to solve a rare challenge in gin-making: successfully infusing cacao into a spirit without overpowering its balance.
Inspired by her love of chocolate and flowers, Gracie drew influence from the lush hothouses of the Hendrick’s Gin Palace, layering cacao’s velvety richness with citrus lift and floral brightness. The result is a gin that enhances Hendrick’s core flavour profile rather than masking it.
“Another Hendrick’s is the complete opposite of what we’ve been doing for the past 25 years,” Gracie explains. “The combination of orange blossom and cacao beans is really rather unusual, but it creates a depth of flavour with a hint of sweetness and freshness that feels completely distinctive — and completely Hendrick’s.”
Duality Has Always Been at the Heart of Hendrick’s
Duality isn’t new territory for Hendrick’s. Since its inception, the brand has stood apart thanks to its unusual production methods, including the use of two rare stills to achieve both complexity and lightness. The now-iconic infusion of cucumber and rose helped redefine modern gin, challenging category norms long before flavour innovation became mainstream.

Alongside the new gin, Hendrick’s has introduced the Another Hendrick’s Spritz, a vibrant cocktail designed to highlight the spirit’s citrus and cacao notes.
“This serve allows the gin to really sing,” says Charmaine Thio, Global Brand Ambassador. “It’s light, refreshing, and balances fruit sweetness with the subtle pull of cacao.”
The cocktail blends Another Hendrick’s Gin with apple juice, prosecco, soda and a splash of cherry liqueur, finished with cucumber slices, a cocktail cherry and a lemon twist — a visually striking and flavour-forward serve perfect for pre-dining moments.
