British snack favourite Pot Noodle has unveiled an exciting new format: Pot Noodle Blocks. The launch sees the brand’s most iconic flavours transformed into generously sized dry noodle blocks, giving fans a brand-new way to enjoy their go-to comfort meal.
Designed for stove-top cooking and ready in just four minutes, Pot Noodle Blocks are set to shake up the UK’s instant noodle aisle in 2026.
Classic Pot Noodle Flavours, Now in Block Format
For the first time ever, Pot Noodle’s most-loved flavours are available in a larger block format, including:
-
Chicken & Mushroom
-
Bombay Bad Boy
-
Beef & Tomato
-
Original Curry
Each block weighs over 100g, offering a more substantial meal option compared to traditional pot formats. And in true Pot Noodle style, the much-loved sauce sachet is included — so fans won’t miss out on that signature flavour hit.
The new range caters to growing consumer demand for block noodles as a quick, convenient and affordable dinner option — particularly for evening meals when time is tight but hunger is real.
Engineered for Flavour and Texture
Behind the scenes, teams at Unilever spent months perfecting the recipe. A new seasoning system was developed to recreate Pot Noodle’s distinctive taste using less powder, while ensuring the noodles hydrate evenly when cooked on the hob.
According to blind taste tests, Pot Noodle Blocks outperformed key competitors on flavour, texture and overall satisfaction — reinforcing the brand’s dominance in the UK pot snack market.
In fact, the four featured flavours account for 42% of the entire UK Pot Snack market (Nielsen Mini Meals L52W ending 24-01-2026), highlighting just how strong their fanbase remains.
Perfect for Late-Night Cravings and Quick Dinners
Ready in four minutes, Pot Noodle Blocks are ideal for:
-
Late-night cravings
-
Pre-night-out fuel
-
Quick weeknight dinners
-
Student-friendly meals
-
Budget-conscious shoppers
Madeleine Boulton, Senior Brand Manager at Pot Noodle, said:
“We are so excited to be bringing our iconic and most loved Pot Noodle flavours to the block noodle format for the very first time. We know that consumers are reaching for block noodles in the evening for a quick, convenient and affordable dinner, so we wanted to bring their favourite flavours into a larger block format that is packed with flavour.”
