The martini is getting a seasonal makeover this summer, as Hendrick’s Gin unveils two cocktail recipes inspired by Mediterranean flavour favourites.

Here’s how to recreate at these at home:
Greek Salad Martini
Ingredients
- 100g Cherry Tomatoes
- 100g Cucumber
- 100ml Kalamata Olive Brine
- 50ml Hendrick’s Original Gin
- 10ml White Vermouth
- 10ml Dry Vermouth
- Feta
- Dill
Method
- Blend together 100g cherry tomatoes, 100g cucumber, handful of dill & 100ml kalamata olive brine.
- Strain off the liquid by push it through kitchen cloth to create your Greek Salad Brine.
- Pour 50ml Hendrick’s Original, 10ml White Vermouth, 10ml Dry Vermouth & 30ml Greek Salad Brine into a mixing tin/glass.
- Stir over ice till well diluted and ice cold.
- Pour into frozen martini glass.
- Garnish with a cube of Feta & Dill.
Caprese Martini
Ingredients
- 100g Cherry Tomatoes
- 100ml Mozzarella Brine
- 50ml Hendrick’s Original Gin
- 10ml White Vermouth
- 10ml Dry Vermouth
- Mini Mozzarella balls
- Basil
- Salt
- Pepper
Method
- Blend together 100g cherry tomatoes, 8 fresh basil leaves & 100ml mozzarella brine.
- Strain off the liquid by push it through kitchen cloth and season the liquid with salt & pepper to create your Caprese brine.
- Pour 50ml Hendrick’s Original, 10ml White Vermouth, 10ml Dry Vermouth & 30ml Caprese Brine into a mixing tin/glass.
- Stir over ice till well diluted and ice cold.
- Pour into frozen martini glass.
- Garnish with a mini mozzarella ball & cherry tomato seasoned with flaky salt.
