England captain and football icon Harry Kane has officially joined the star-studded sporting line-up at Madame Tussauds London, with the attraction unveiling the striker’s first-ever wax figure just in time for the summer’s biggest football tournament. The new figure goes on display from 5 June, as fans prepare for the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup 2026.
The lifelike figure was revealed after six months of meticulous work between Harry Kane and the expert studio team at Madame Tussauds London. Every detail has been carefully recreated, from the England captain’s distinctive features and taped wedding finger to his official England home kit and brand-new Skechers SKX_2 Elite World Cup boots.
Harry Kane Comes Face-to-Face With His Wax Double
In newly released footage, Kane met his wax likeness for the first time and was visibly impressed by the level of detail. The FC Bayern Munich striker described the experience as “like looking in the mirror,” praising the team for recreating even the smallest personal touches.
Speaking about the honour, Kane said that having his first figure in London made the moment especially meaningful, given his lifelong connection to the city and his football journey that began in North London.
A Tribute to Harry Kane’s Football Journey
To make the unveiling even more special, a group of young players from Ridgeway Rovers in Walthamstow – the grassroots club where Kane first played football as a six-year-old – were invited to become the first fans to see the figure.
The gesture serves as a reminder of Kane’s remarkable rise from local youth football to becoming England’s all-time leading goalscorer and one of the most recognised players in world football.
His figure arrives at a significant moment in his career. Kane heads into the FIFA World Cup 2026 as one of the tournament’s standout stars, having accumulated numerous individual honours and major club trophies while continuing to break scoring records for both club and country.
