In a groundbreaking collaboration, Glenmorangie and Paradise have joined forces to present the Taste of Paradise, a six-course dining experience in the heart of Soho that redefines culinary boundaries through the unlikely fusion of Scottish and Sri Lankan flavours. This partnership marries Scotland’s whisky heritage and essence with Sri Lanka’s fiery cuisine, celebrating the release of Glenmorangie’s newly re-imagined Original 12 Years Old and the luxurious Infinita 18 Years Old.
The menu treats diners to a sensory journey where the velvety notes of orange, honey, vanilla, and peach in Glenmorangie’s whiskies find their perfect complement in Paradise’s bold, contemporary interpretations of Sri Lankan classics.
Glenmorangie injects its imaginative ethos into the Taste of Paradise menu. The Original 12 Years Old, now with an extra two years of ageing, introduces a silkier profile that elevates the served cocktails, including the Chai Old Fashioned, while the Infinita 18 Years Old lends its opulent character to add depth to the food flavour notes. Guided by Glenmorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation, Dr Bill Lumsden, this collaboration showcases the brand’s passion for pushing the limits of flavour and innovation, solidifying its place as a true pioneer in the world of whisky.
Paradise’s Founder and Creative Director, Dom Fernando, draws on Sri Lanka’s rich culinary tapestry to deliver a menu that bridges tradition and innovation. Highlights include the Mas Curry, featuring dry-aged sirloin glazed with Glenmorangie Infinita and paired with Southern turmeric dhal and fried paratha roti, and Kiri-hodi, a luxurious blend of Orkney scallop and native lobster elevated by Sri Lankan coconut curry notes. Paradise’s ethos of unapologetic flavour experimentation excites each course, taking its diners along with it on a memorable dining experience of discovery.
With tickets priced at just £65, this exclusive event is a must for adventurous diners and whisky lovers alike, blending the warmth of Sri Lankan hospitality with Glenmorangie’s iconic craftsmanship for an evening unlike any other in London this December.
The exclusive evenings at The Villa at Paradise will take place on 10th & 11th, and 17th & 18th December. Bookings can be made directly through Paradise Soho here, and include a six-course set menu, two Glenmorangie cocktails, and a dram of Glenmorangie Infinita 18 Years Old.
