Dr. Beckmann is teaming up with DJ Louis Bekk for a one-night-only laundry party in Stratford this October, complete with free washing cycles, foam and plenty of beats.
Doing your laundry might not usually sound like the recipe for a great night out, but Dr. Beckmann is looking to change that with its upcoming Sheets & Beats Launderette.
The laundry care brand is teaming up with Louis Bekk to transform a secret Stratford launderette into a foam-filled party venue on Tuesday 20th October 2026, giving guests the chance to tackle their washing while dancing along to a DJ set.
The event will run from 6pm to 9pm, with the exact location being kept under wraps until the day before. Guests who successfully secure a place will receive the secret location alongside their ticket confirmation on Monday 19th October.
Louis Bekk Will Be Behind the Decks!
Known for throwing parties in unexpected locations, Louis Bekk will provide the soundtrack for the evening as guests get their washing done.
The Dr. Beckmann team will also be on hand throughout the event, offering practical laundry advice and helping guests get to grips with everything from choosing the right washing-machine setting to tackling stubborn stains.
There will also be free washing cycles available, while everyone attending will leave with a bag of Dr. Beckmann laundry goodies.
The event is particularly aimed at young adults who may still be finding their feet when it comes to doing their own laundry.
A Third of Young Adults Wait Weeks to Do Their First Wash!
The Sheets & Beats event follows new research commissioned by Dr. Beckmann, which highlights just how many young adults struggle with laundry after moving out of home.
Research conducted by OnePoll, surveying 1,000 UK adults aged 18–30 who had moved out of home, found that a third of young adults wait weeks before doing their first wash after leaving home.
Meanwhile, 33% said they left home with little to no experience of using a washing machine.
With that in mind, Dr. Beckmann says the event is designed to make laundry feel less intimidating while giving attendees some practical tips they can take home with them.
Dr. Beckmann Laundry Sheets Start From £3.50!
Guests will also be introduced to Dr. Beckmann Laundry Detergent Sheets and Fabric Conditioner Sheets, which start from £3.50.
The sheets are pre-dosed and designed to be mess-free and compact, making them particularly useful for people who are learning to manage their own laundry for the first time. They can also be used from temperatures as low as 20°C.

The event takes place on Tuesday 20th October from 6pm–9pm at a secret location in Stratford, East London.
Guests must be 18 or over and will need to bring valid government-issued ID. A selected number of entrants will receive ticket confirmation, including the venue’s exact location, by Monday 19th October.
