Deliveroo is giving away free food dishes from over 500 Asian restaurants across the UK, bringing the cultural atmosphere of the traditional Moon Festival celebration to customers’ homes.
Deliveroo customers can enjoy free food with every order when they spend £25 from participating restaurants*. From Veggie Gyozas at YO! Sushi (worth £7.35) and Dim Ti (worth £5.85), Spring Rolls from Kokoro (worth £4.15), Prawn Crackers from Pho (worth £3.50) to Salt & Pepper Potatoes from Chopstix (worth £3.95), Brits should head to the Deliveroo app to order from any of the restaurants with the menu tag ‘Moon Festival’ for a tasty saving.
Moon Festival – sometimes known as the mid-autumn festival – is celebrated on every 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese Lunar Calendar. It’s a harvest festival celebrated in China for over 3,000 years. The festival traditionally brings together families and communities to give thanks and pray with quality food, drink and an array of celebrations and festivities.
