Military Appreciation Month is getting a major in-game spotlight this year as Call of Duty unveils a brand-new initiative aimed at helping veterans transition into meaningful careers after service.
The campaign centres around the new C.O.D.E. Navigator Tracer Pack, which launched this week across Call of Duty titles, with proceeds supporting the Call of Duty Endowment — one of the largest private funders of veteran employment programmes in the US and UK.
Players can learn more about the initiative through Call of Duty Official Website and the Call of Duty Endowment.
Call of Duty’s C.O.D.E. Pack Supports Veterans Through Gaming
As part of the Military Appreciation Month celebrations in May 2026, 100% of Activision’s net proceeds from the C.O.D.E. Navigator Tracer Pack (excluding VAT/sales tax) will go directly to the Call of Duty Endowment.
The organisation has already helped place more than 169,000 veterans into jobs across the United States and United Kingdom, making it one of the gaming industry’s most impactful charitable initiatives.
The latest pack was inspired by and developed alongside Chris Cassidy, a retired U.S. Navy SEAL and former NASA astronaut whose career journey from military service to space exploration influenced the design and storytelling behind the release.
New C.O.D.E. Navigator Challenge Runs Until May 21
Alongside the cosmetic pack, players can also take part in the C.O.D.E. Navigator Challenge, which runs from May 8 to May 21.
The limited-time event allows the global Call of Duty community to unlock exclusive in-game rewards while raising awareness for veteran employment initiatives through gameplay participation.
The challenge forms part of a wider campaign spanning social media, creator livestreams and in-game messaging, with gaming creators and streamers joining the initiative by hosting gameplay sessions and engaging their audiences throughout the event period.
Gaming Continues to Support Veteran Communities
The latest campaign reinforces Call of Duty’s long-running support for military veterans, using the scale of one of the world’s biggest gaming franchises to drive awareness and fundraising through interactive entertainment.
In recent years, gaming companies have increasingly used live-service events and community-driven challenges to support charitable causes, blending player engagement with real-world impact.
