Butterkist Hosts Popcorn Emporium to Mark Wicked Partnership

The UK’s favourite popcorn brand Butterkist has partnered with Universal Pictures’ Wicked for a spellbinding collaboration to celebrate the hotly anticipated movie’s release, bringing to life the Emerald City in Soho with the Butterkist Popcorn Emporium – open for two days only.

In celebration of Wicked’s long-awaited leap from stage to screen this November, Butterkist is unveiling a spellbinding Popcorn Emporium inspired by the Emerald City. This immersive pop-up invites fans to discover their “Wicked” side with a multi-sensory experience featuring popcorn performers, enchanting activities, and a magical array of flavours. Visitors can sample Butterkist’s new Limited-Edition Amazafying Sweet Popcorn, then personalise their treats at a popcorn counter offering a variety of sweet and savoury toppings. For a touch of extra magic, guests can step into an interactive photo booth to capture memorable moments alongside Elphaba and Glinda.

The Amazafying popcorn packs will be available to visitors while supplies last, adding an extra treat to this whimsical event. Butterkist is also running a thrilling on-pack promotion where lucky winners can indulge in a luxury London getaway, complete with a potion-making workshop, makeover, wizard-themed afternoon tea, and a £200 shopping spree. With plenty of opportunities to embrace the wonder of Wicked and create a popcorn masterpiece, the Butterkist Popcorn Emporium promises to be a can’t-miss destination for both fans of the beloved musical, popcorn lovers, and moviegoers alike.

The pop-up will take place at 15 Bateman Street, London W1D 1AQ, on 21st November between 10:00 and 18:00, and on 22nd November between 10:00 and 14:00.
