BEAVERTOWN BACKS INDEPENDENT VENUE WEEK 2026 WITH UK-WIDE LIVE MUSIC TOUR

Independent music venues across the UK are set to take centre stage this winter as Beavertown Brewery confirms its return as a supporter of Independent Venue Week (IVW) 2026, marking the brand’s fourth consecutive year backing the nationwide celebration of grassroots live music.

Running from 26 January to 1 February 2026, Independent Venue Week shines a spotlight on the small but mighty venues that play a crucial role in shaping the UK’s music scene. This year, Beavertown is going bigger than ever, supporting shows across seven cities, seven venues and more than 15 artists, helping to amplify the voices of the spaces and communities that keep live music alive.

Why Independent Venue Week Matters

Independent venues are widely regarded as the backbone of British music culture. From nurturing emerging talent to offering safe, creative spaces for local communities, these venues often give artists their first taste of a live audience. However, rising costs and ongoing pressures mean many continue to fight for survival.

Beavertown’s ongoing partnership with Independent Venue Week reinforces its commitment to protecting and championing grassroots music spaces, ensuring that new artists and local scenes can continue to thrive.

Beavertown’s Seven-City IVW 2026 Tour

As part of IVW 2026, Beavertown will bring its signature energy to venues across the UK, with confirmed shows in:

  • London – The Dome

  • Manchester – New Century Hall

  • Leeds – Brudenell Social Club

  • Edinburgh – Stramash

  • Cardiff – Clwb Ifor Bach

  • Norwich – Voodoo Daddy’s

  • Birmingham – Hare & Hounds

Each show celebrates the unique role these venues play in their local scenes, while giving fans the chance to experience live music in its most authentic form.

Win Tickets, Beer and Exclusive Merch

To mark the partnership, fans can enter a competition to win one of five exclusive prize packs, each including:

  • Two gig tickets

  • An official Beavertown T-shirt

  • Independent Venue Week vinyl

  • A 24-can Beavertown beer bundle

  • A bar tab for the night

Competitions like this aim to drive footfall into independent venues while giving fans a tangible way to support them.

A Partnership That Keeps Growing

Beavertown’s involvement with IVW has expanded significantly year-on-year. In 2024, support centred around selected shows, before evolving into a seven-city tour in 2025 that reached thousands of fans.

For 2026, the collaboration scales up even further, with Beavertown supporting 236 independent venues nationwide, alongside fan giveaways, ticket competitions and artist-led content created in collaboration with IVW ambassadors.

Music at the Heart of Beavertown

Live music has long been part of Beavertown’s story. From its early days hosting local artists at its Tottenham taproom, to supporting festivals, touring genre-blending events and even producing a music video for one of the world’s biggest rock bands, the brewery has consistently placed music at the heart of its brand.

Independent Venue Week 2026 offers the perfect platform for Beavertown to reconnect with fans while supporting the venues that make unforgettable live music moments possible.

Supporting the Future of Live Music

The Beavertown x Independent Venue Week 2026 partnership is a clear statement of intent: a commitment to the venues, artists and communities that keep the UK’s music scene vibrant and accessible.
