WHERE TO GO NOW: MCM LONDON COMIC CON IS COMING THIS OCTOBER

MCM Comic Con, the ultimate celebration of all things pop culture comes back to town this Autumn, ready to unleash a whirlwind weekend of jaw-dropping excitement! Get ready to immerse yourself in an incredible celebration of film, TV, gaming, cosplay and the most sensational experiences imaginable as MCM Comic Con London returns to ExCeL London from 27th – 29th October.  

The first guests have been announced and you won’t be disappointed… Leading the charge in this year’s line-up is none other than the incredible cast of Critical Role! Brace yourselves as Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, Liam O’Brien, Ashley Johnson, Taliesin Jaffe and Marisha Ray make their way back to the MCM stage, ready to captivate audiences with their incredible talents and storytelling in the magical world of Dungeons & Dragons.

On Saturday and Sunday, fans will have the unique opportunity to engage with the cast through autograph sessions and photo opportunities. Additionally, their exclusive panel will provide insights, behind-the-scenes stories, and a chance to connect in a unique and interactive setting. Don’t miss the chance to meet these incredible actors who have brought characters from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Dragon Ball Z, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Naruto, The Last of Us, and The Legend of Vox Machina to life!

Hitting the Main Stage – which this year will be in the ICC Auditorium, holding 3x the capacity of the usual MCM Main Stage to welcome even more fans – on Saturday, actors Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone best known respectively for their roles across The Twilight Saga, Immortals, Bombshell and The Last Airbender will be in conversation as they talk about their long careers and answer fan questions, as well as meeting fans for photos and autographs!

Hot off the press, appearing across Saturday and Sunday, Rhys Darby, best known for Our Flag Means Death as well as noughties comedy series Flight of the Conchords and popular vampire mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows; Vice Ortiz, best know for Our Flag Means Death, The Sex Lives of College Girls and Everything’s Gonna Be Okay; and Samson Kayo, best known for Our Flag Means Death, Truth Seekers and Bloods will be meeting and greeting fans at the next MCM instalment. Keep your eyes peeled for more announcements too as there may be an exciting panel coming your way…

But that’s not all! Joining the star-studded line-up is the incredible Stephen Amell. On Friday 27th and Saturday 28th, fans will have the extraordinary opportunity to meet this multi-talented star in person during autograph sessions and exclusive photo opportunities. Prepare to be dazzled by the one and only Felicia Day, a mastermind behind The Guild, a ground-breaking web series that captured the hearts of millions.

And that’s not all—get ready to dive into the world of the sensational anime series Jujutsu Kaisen with our fantastic new additions: Kaiji Tang, Kayleigh McKee, and Adam McArthur! Kaiji Tang, a renowned voice actor, has lent his exceptional talent to beloved characters, including the charismatic Jujutsu Kaisen protagonist, Yuji Itadori. Joining him is Kayleigh McKee, known for her striking cosplays and the immensely talented Adam McArthur, known for his exceptional voice work.

Just announced, not one…not two… but FOUR actors from popular Anime series Chainsaw Man will be coming to the show this October too. Appearing across all three days, Ryan Colt Levy, best known for voicing Denji in Chainsaw Man and Dr John H Watson in Moriarty the Patriot; Reagan Murdock, best know for Aki Hayakawa in Chainsaw Man and Ganesha in SMITE; Sarah Wiedenheft, known as Power in Chainsaw Man as well as Dragon Ball Super and Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid; and Lindsay Seidel as Pochita in Chainsaw Man will be meeting and greeting fans at they get their Anime fix at the next MCM instalment.

Joining the already stellar line-up is the fantastic cast of hugely popular RPG Baldur’s Gate 3. Since its release earlier this month, the game has captured the hearts of gamers worldwide, receiving critical acclaim and widespread recognition, and now fans will have the chance to meet the remarkable talents behind the captivating characters. Appearing across all three days are Amelia Tyler, Neil Newbon, Jennifer English, Devora Wilde, Theo Solomon, Tim Downie and Samantha Beart. Joining the event on Friday are Tracy Wiles, Dave Jones and Emma Gregory. Fans will be able to meet the cast during the photographs and autographs sessions, as well as two exclusive panels happening on Central Stage on Friday 27th October and Live Stage on Saturday 28th October.

But that’s not all… fans will also have the opportunity to meet two legendary voices from the iconic game Halo! Jen Taylor, the talented voice actress who brought Cortana to life, an artificially intelligent character appearing throughout the entire Halo series, and Steve Downes the unmistakable voice behind the Master Chief will be joining MCM London Comic Con for the entire duration of the event.

The excitement doesn’t stop there, step into the world of Cosplay Central, where you can witness the incredible artistry and dedication of cosplayers from every universe imaginable as they bring your favourite characters to life. From jaw-dropping costumes, impressive props and in-depth panels on how to craft cosplay creations, you’ll be awestruck by the attention to detail and passion on display. And if you have a cosplay malfunction on-site? Never fear as the Cosplay Hospital is on hand to help mend any costume crises!

Enter a realm of artistic brilliance at Artist Alley, where talented creators from around the globe gather to showcase their extraordinary works. Immerse yourself in a gallery of stunning illustrations, breath-taking paintings and one of a kind comic books as you meet the artists behind the magic!

For little adventurers, climb up into the Treehouse and discover a world to keep the kids entertained all day, including creative kids crafting, face paint makeovers, colouring fun, and more. And let’s not forget that kids 10 and under go free with an adult ticket holder!

Get ready to be transported to the vibrant and mesmerising world of Pop Asia, for a chance to celebrate everything awesome about East and South East Asian pop culture. Unleash your creativity in the Origami workshop, where you can hone your paper-folding skills and bring beautiful creations to life. Dive into the art of Manga drawing and learn the techniques used by your favourite artists. Immerse yourself in a dynamic program of dance performances, K-pop sing-alongs, and martial arts demonstrations.

Calling all gameboard enthusiasts and role-playing adventures! Make your way to the Tabletop area, where a world of immersive gaming experiences awaits you. Discover a wide array of tabletop games, from beloved classics to exciting new releases. If you’re into something more digital, head on down to Side Quest. Whether you’re looking for an old favourite or the chance to try something new, there’s truly something for everyone with an out of this world Gaming Library packed with consoles both new and retro, and the MCM Arcade full of the best-loved consoles from times gone by.
