The fan-favourite ATP Champions Tour is set to return to the Royal Albert Hall for the 24th time this November after a one-year absence.
The iconic British venue will welcome tennis fans back this autumn, playing host to a great line-up of tennis legends, featuring 2001 Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanišević, former British No. 1 Greg Rusedski and Australian legend Mark Philippoussis as team captains.
On court, the captains will be joined by an impressive team line-up including former World No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero, 2010 Wimbledon finalist Tomáš Berdych and former Russian No. 1 Mikhail Youzhny.
Marcos Baghdatis, David Ferrer and Tommy Haas will also be returning to the Royal Albert Hall, which is set to welcome back tennis fans for the first time since 2019.
Commencing on Thursday 25th November, the four-day tournament is comprised of daily afternoon and evening sessions, with three scheduled matches per session; two competitive singles matches and one doubles match.
For the tennis fans who missed out on seeing their favourite legends in 2020 due to the pandemic, it will be a fantastic opportunity to watch their favourites once again in the stunning surroundings of the Albert Hall.
While the legends rediscover the joy of taking to the court again, the competition will be fiercer than ever, as players bid to become a part of the Champions Tennis history books.
With more player announcements due in the coming weeks, this year’s Champions Tennis is set to be huge with plenty of action taking place on and off the court.
Since the ATP Champions Tour’s inception in 1997, a host of great names have graced the court, including John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg, Boris Becker and Pete Sampras. Not to mention more recent players to the Champions Tour, and former Wimbledon greats, such as Andy Roddick, Pat Rafter and Marat Safin.
Tickets to the event are now on sale and can be purchased via the Champions Tennis website, www.atpchampionstour.com/london
