What To Wear Now: Timberland

Timberland’s iconic 3-eye lug handsewn boat shoes have been crafted and ready to go since 1978. For S22, Timberland brings GreenStride comfort soles and Regenerative Leather to two classic silhouettes, pairing heritage from the past with eco-innovation and progressive style for today.

Inspired by the 3-eye lug handsewn boat shoe design, the GreenStride Ray City EK+ Boat Shoes and GreenStride TBL Originals Ultra EK+ Boat Shoes combine classic boat shoe uppers with the rugged GreenStride™ boot soles first introduced in FW21. GreenStride comfort soles are made using a 75% combination of renewable sugar cane and rubber from trees, making them naturally lightweight and comfortable. ReBOTL fabric linings contain at least 50% recycled plastic, while EVA-blend foam midsoles add extra cushiony comfort. And as part of Timberland’s Earthkeepers Edition, these styles are made using Regenerative Leather, sourced from farms whose agricultural practices actually help improve soil and restore the environment

Timberland will support the launch of this collection with a campaign called Generation Boat, which celebrates the iconic boat shoe style, its evolution and cultural impact, and the generations of people who wear it with pride. The campaign will come to life across all Timberland digital and social channels and in Timberland stores worldwide. It is also featured in TimbsTrails, a new gamified digital experience that takes fans on a journey through Timberland’s past, present and future.

Timberland’s S22 boat shoe collection will be available this April at timberland.com, Timberland stores and select retailers worldwide.
