Clarks are proud to unveil their latest Back to School campaign and collection, in partnership with Chelsea FC football player, Raheem Sterling.
Following the sell-out success of his first limited edition Wallabee in 2020 and becoming Clarks’ global brand ambassador last year, Raheem is thrilled to join Clarks Kids, co-creating a line of sports focused school shoes from a parent and footballer perspective.
In a comedy-focused campaign like never before, Clarks head back to school for the day with Raheem to celebrate his new sports-inspired kicks. Back to the classroom, the yard, and where it all began.
Raheem’s keen to impress the kids. His footy skills are world-class, but he may need to bring more than his A-game to impress this crowd. Fans and customers can join the fun and follow Raheem’s Back to School Journey in the unique mockumentary content series live from 3rd August @ Clarks TikTok and Instagram, and a full edit on YouTube.
From saving up to buy his Clarks to now designing his very own collection, Raheem will always remember his roots and where it all began for him. He was also born in the Maverley district of Kingston, Jamaica, where Clarks shoes have been part of island life since the early 20th Century. Its rich cultural heritage plays a hugely important role in Raheem’s life.
Raheem had the below to say on the campaign and collection:
“I’ve been wearing Clarks since I was a child, I loved my Wallabees,” explains Raheem Sterling. “I’d sell slushies in the school playground at breaktime and save up the money to eventually buy a new pair. They’re not just any shoes to me, they are part of my roots. Having the chance to co-design a collection with Clarks that will give kids the freedom of movement they need to reach their own breaktime goals means a lot to me.”
