A fresh take on a retro look, for Spring/Summer 2021 Dickies Life serves up a vibrant, nature-inspired collection with an authentic 1970s vibe.
For Natural Reaction, tie-dye is at the forefront of the collection. Most notably popularised by the counterculture, bright, bold tie-dye as we know it today is based on ancient dying techniques. The muted tie-dye inspired pattern used throughout the capsule harks back to more subtle resist-dyeing techniques. It celebrates a dedication to craftmanship shared by Dickies and evident in the timeless details apparent in every product.
As well as tie-dye, a calm garden stripe runs throughout the collection. With a nod to Dickies rich workwear history, the print is based on a fabric once used for a pair of Dickies gardener’s gloves from the archives. Washed out fabrics and contrast stitching also features prominently, ideal for soaking up the warmer summer days.
Focus products include the Sunburg Workshirt and Short. Based on a classic work shirt and all-new elasticated style short, the product can be worn together for a bold, fresh look or styled with other pieces from the collection.
