What To Drink Now: Free Sushi & Cocktails in Shoreditch?

Following the introduction of Caribbean Smooth and Illegal Smooth, DEWAR’s is pleased to announce the latest innovation in the Cask Series: DEWAR’S Japanese Smooth, a fusion of two unique cultures, creating an elegant and approachable flavour.

Every sip will transport you, highlighting a distinctive and harmonious blend of cinnamon, sandalwood and floral notes. This rich and full-bodied 8 year old Blended Scotch Whisky is finished in Japanese Mizunara Oak Casks, creating an approachable and smooth whisky with an extraordinary difference.

DEWAR’S Japanese Smooth is great when enjoyed in a number of cocktails alongside the ultimate Japanese Highball. Elegant and chilled, with unmistakable notes of honey, and a hint of cinnamon spice on the palate,

DEWAR’S Japanese Smooth has a long and slightly dry finish. The liquid is then finished in Japanese Mizunara Oak casks for six months, before it is released into the wild. The DEWAR’s Cask Series continues to rewrite the rules of whisky, with each bottle of Japanese Smooth featuring DEWAR’S 8 year-aged Scotch whisky, giving it the iconic flavour. This latest addition achieves a balance of harmony, just like Japanese culture.

In celebration of the launch, DEWAR’s is set to bring Japan to the heart of London this spring. Mixing culture and cocktails, this immersive experience is like no other – from sushi bites (using a fusion of Japanese delicacy and Scottish flavours) that can be enjoyed surrounded by scented cherry blossoms that will transport you to Kyoto; before moving through the space and entering the secret Tokyo inspired karaoke bar, where you can embrace your inner superstar and belt out the classics. The DEWAR’s Japanese Smooth pop up will take place on 27th May, in Shoreditch with tickets costing £8. Slots are limited, so book now to avoid missing out on this one of a kind experience.

DEWAR’S Japanese Smooth is available to purchase from Waitrose and www.waitrose.com now, RRP£30.
