BACARDÍ RUM CAKE

INGREDIENTS

  • 120ml BACARDÍ Ocho (Alternatively use BACARDÍ Spiced Rum or BACARDÍ Oro)
  • 525 grams of yellow pre-made cake mix
  • 100 grams of custard powder
    4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts

INGREDIENTS

  • 120ml BACARDÍ Ocho (Alternatively use BACARDÍ Spiced Rum or BACARDÍ Oro)
  • 110 grams butter
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

BACARDÍ CARIBBEAN SPICED HOT BUTTERED RUM

INGREDIENTS

  • 60 ml BACARDÍ Caribbean Spiced
  • 90 ml water
  • ½ cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • 10 ml Coco Real (or Coco Lopez)
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 ½ knobs of butter (approx. 15g)

METHOD 

  1. Add all ingredients (except BACARDÍ Caribbean Spiced) to a small saucepan, bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Once boiling, remove from the heat and add BACARDÍ Caribbean Spiced, then stir and cover,
  3. Leave for 10 min to allow the flavours to infuse.
  4. Strain into a mug and garnish with an orange zest.

 

BACARDÍ COQUITO

INGREDIENTS

  • 1000 ml BACARDÍ Carta Blanca
  • 445 ml cream of coconut
  • 415 ml condensed milk
  • 350 ml evaporated milk
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon to taste

METHOD

  1. Pour all ingredients into a large punch bowl (without ice) and mix.
  2. Refrigerate and then serve in cordial glasses or over ice.
  3. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

 

BACARDÍ AFTER OCHO

INGREDIENTS

  • 60 ml BACARDÍ Reserva Ocho
  • 20 ml Monin Cinnamon Syrup
  • 75 ml La Colombe Cold Brew

METHOD

  1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker
  2. Fill with ice then shake
  3. Strain into a coupe glass
  4. Garnish with freshly grated Cinnamon

 

 

 

BACARDÍ OLD CUBAN

 INGREDIENTS

  • 45 ml BACARDÍ Reserva Ocho
  • 60 ml Martini Prosecco Sparkling Wine
  • 6 Mint Leaves
  • 25 ml Simple Syrup
  • 20 ml Lime Juice
  • 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters

METHOD

  1. Combine all ingredients (except Prosecco)
  2. Shake vigorously
  3. Double strain and top with Prosecco
  4. Garnish with Mint leaf loaf

 

BACARDÍ FESTIVE OLD FASHIONED

INGREDIENTS

  • 50 ml BACARDÍ Reserva Ocho
  • 10 ml PX Sherry
  • 5 ml Orgeat
  • 1 dash of Angostura Bitters
  • 1 dash of orange bitters

METHOD

  1. Stir with ice and pour into an Old-Fashioned glass.
  2. Add a large piece / block of ice.
  3. Garnish with an orange zest.
