To celebrate LGBTQ+ pride events around the UK, Booking.com is here to share the most welcoming and inclusive stays for every traveller in the lead up to Leeds, Manchester, Cardiff, and Birmingham Pride.

According to research from Booking.com 71% of UK LGBTQ+ travellers have had less-than-welcoming or uncomfortable experiences when travelling, with 61% reporting they have to consider their safety and wellbeing when choosing a holiday destination. Those that travel within this community often do not feel safe or comfortable to be their authentic selves. As a result, Booking.com launched its Proud Hospitality programme to help combat some of the challenges and barriers the LGBTQ+ community face when travelling, by offering training to its partners, providing them with practical skills and techniques to allow their guests to feel more welcome.

Birmingham Pride – 23rd September
