TOM HOLLAND’S BERO LAUNCHES LIMITED-EDITION SHANDY RANGE INSPIRED BY BRITISH TRADITION AND SUMMER FLAVOURS!

Tom Holland’s premium non-alcoholic beer brand, BERO, has unveiled its first-ever shandy collection, bringing a modern twist to one of Britain’s most beloved summer drinks.

The limited-edition range introduces four fruit-forward shandies inspired by different moments of a summer’s day, blending traditional British shandy culture with BERO’s premium alcohol-free brewing approach. The launch marks another major step in the rapid growth of the brand co-founded by Tom Holland and John Herman.

BERO Reinvents the Classic British Shandy

Traditionally made by mixing beer and lemonade, shandy has long been a staple of British pub culture. BERO’s new interpretation combines 30% Kingston Golden Pils with 70% lemonade and real fruit flavours, creating a lighter, alcohol-free option designed for summer social occasions.

The collection launches in a new 12oz can format and features four distinct flavours:

  • Daybreak Shandy – Lemon Lime
  • Golden Hour Shandy – Pink Grapefruit
  • Sunset Shandy – Elderflower
  • Midnight Shandy – Blackberry Yuzu

Each flavour is designed to reflect a different part of the day, from refreshing morning citrus notes to richer evening-inspired fruit combinations.

Inspired by Zendaya

One of the more personal aspects of the launch is the inspiration behind the range. Holland revealed that the new drinks were created with his fiancée, Zendaya, in mind.

Speaking about the new collection, Holland explained that while Zendaya has always supported the brand, she was never a fan of beer itself. The shandy range was developed to create something she would genuinely enjoy drinking.

The actor has previously spoken openly about his sobriety journey, which ultimately led to the creation of BERO as a premium non-alcoholic beer brand focused on flavour, quality and social inclusion.

Expanding the Non-Alcoholic Beer Market

The launch comes at a time when demand for premium alcohol-free beverages continues to rise. Since launching in 2024, BERO has expanded beyond its original range, which includes Kingston Golden Pils, Noon Wheat, Edge Hill Hazy IPA and Double Tasty West Coast Style IPA.

John Herman, Co-Founder and CEO of BERO, described the shandy line as a natural extension of the brand’s mission to create elevated non-alcoholic drinks that fit seamlessly into every social occasion.

The new range aims to appeal not only to existing alcohol-free beer drinkers but also to consumers looking for refreshing, fruit-led alternatives during summer gatherings, outdoor events and celebrations.

When and Where to Buy BERO Shandy

Pre-sales for the limited-edition collection are available through the brand’s membership programme, Club BERO, with a wider online launch beginning on 8 June. The drinks join BERO’s existing alcohol-free portfolio and will be available through selected retailers and directly from the company’s website.

As alcohol-free beverages continue to gain mainstream popularity, BERO’s latest launch demonstrates how brands are increasingly blending nostalgia, premium ingredients and celebrity influence to create products aimed at a new generation of consumers.
