Unveil the season’s splendour with the waterside estates’ grand lights switch-on event on 14th November 2024, from 5.30 – 7 pm. Be captivated by maritime-themed Christmas lights adorned with charming motifs and lanterns and watch as St Katharine Docks is transformed into a twinkling water wonderland. Alongside the ceremonious Christmas Tree, this year will see a captivating larger-than-life walk-through illuminated boat, perfect for capturing a marvellous Instagram moment.
A free event, visitors will be treated to special performances by school choirs from St Peter’s London Docks Primary School and Stepney Greencoat Primary School, with a guest appearance from St Nick himself. Expect melodious tunes, scrumptious mince pies, and early xmas gifts for children who attend.
And, as it’s the season for giving, join St Katharine Docks in spreading joy and hope by supporting Kids Out, a charity dedicated to helping children affected by domestic abuse. Participate in the Kids Out Giving Tree initiative by selecting a tag from the magnificent Christmas tree and purchasing a gift for £5-£20. Fully committed to the pledge, the estate team, its stakeholders and IGY Marinas have joined forces with Unitrust to ensure all heartfelt gifts reach those in need.
