Mama Shelter London is inviting all Musical Theatre fans and budding West End Stars to take part in a brand-new monthly musical theatre karaoke session. Taking place on the first Tuesday of every month in Shoreditch and priced at just £5 per person, the ‘West End goes East End’ night invites Londoners to get into character and take to the stage for the ultimate musical sing-a-long in the hotel’s karaoke rooms.
Guests can choose from hundreds of songs from some of the most iconic shows on stage and screen. From hugely popular West End hits like Wicked, Hamilton, Mamma Mia, Cabaret, Six, and RENT, to cult classic films like Grease and Hairspray, Disney classics like Frozen and golden age musicals like Sound Of Music and Oklahoma!, there’s something for everyone.
With musical theatre now being more popular than ever, the ‘West End goes East End’ night is perfect for fans to come and meet like-minded people, or budding performers to get to know other MT creatives. Mama Shelter will offer a shared karaoke room experience, where guests can book a spot and come on their own, or with a friend. There’s something for everyone.
Book here for only £5 per person for three hours of fun (normally £25pp for 2 hours), including a free shot of courage (Mama’s secret recipe). Throughout April, guests can also enjoy two for one cocktails from 4-7pm at Mama Shelter London’s Bar and ‘Tequila’ Garden Terrace, including an exclusive cocktail menu from Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson’s Teremana Tequila.

Mama Shelter London’s karaoke rooms are decked out in the hotel’s signature funky and maximalist style and are fully equipped with LuckyVoice sing stations. Food and drink from the restaurant and bar can also be ordered directly to the karaoke rooms so guests can make the most of every minute on the mic.
The ‘West End goes East End’ karaoke nights will take place on the first Tuesday of every month from 6:30pm and rooms and places must be booked in advance.
