THE AMY WINEHOUSE BAND ANNOUNCES UK TOUR TO CELEBRATE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF BACK TO BLACK

Fans of the late Amy Winehouse are in for a musical treat as The Amy Winehouse Band, the original ensemble that accompanied her from the start of her meteoric rise, announce a UK tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of her iconic album, Back to Black.

Released in 2006, Back to Black was the album that catapulted Amy Winehouse from a rising British talent to a global cultural icon. The record earned her five GRAMMY Awards in 2008 — including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best New Artist — making her the first British woman to achieve such a feat in a single ceremony. Performing alongside her that night was her band, who had been with her since her earliest London pub gigs.

Now, two decades later, The Amy Winehouse Band continues to honour Amy’s legacy, performing her catalogue live for audiences around the world and introducing new generations to these modern classics.

Touring the UK in 2026

The 2026 Back to Black 20th Anniversary Tour will see the band perform the entire album live, alongside other Amy Winehouse hits, across major UK venues throughout October, November, and December. The tour culminates in a special homecoming date at London’s Roundhouse on 18 December — a must-visit for fans in Camden, the heart of Amy’s story.

Following the UK dates, the celebration continues into 2027 with a dedicated Scottish leg, including stops in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dunfermline, and Dumfries in March.

Meet the Band

Led by Amy’s long-time musical director and bassist, Dale Davis, The Amy Winehouse Band features members who toured and recorded with Amy throughout her career. Dale reflects on the significance of the anniversary tour:

“I can’t believe that it’s the 20th anniversary of Back To Black this year. When I congratulated Amy on the success of this incredible album, she said to me, not with any arrogance: ‘I knew what I was doing’, and at that moment, I realised that she knew exactly what she had created. It’s still an honour, pleasure, and privilege to be performing these songs from this timeless classic.”

Following a sold-out UK tour in 2025, along with multiple international tours and festival appearances across Europe, Asia, North America, and South America, The Amy Winehouse Band continues to bring Amy’s music to life for fans worldwide.
