talkSPORT, the world’s biggest sports radio network, is launching the only weekly motorsport show on UK radio in collaboration with Formula E, the world’s first all-electric motor racing championship.

‘On Track’ is a new one-hour show airing from 4pm to 5pm on talkSPORT 2 every Tuesday, launching today, Tuesday 21st February. The show will be available to download as a podcast after broadcast as part of the talkSPORT podcast network. The biggest interviews, breaking news and live trackside reports will appear in other talkSPORT programming including The Sports Bar Weekender on Friday evening and GameDay Breakfast on Saturday morning.

Produced and presented by talkSPORT’s motor racing expert, Jon Jackson, On Track will include the latest news, features and interviews that matter from the fastest-growing motorsport on the planet, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, and across the motorsport spectrum including Formula 1, MotoGP and the UK’s premier single-seater GB3 Championship.

Dan Humphreys, Director of Communications, Formula E, said:

“We are excited to work with talkSPORT to introduce regular, dedicated motorsport coverage to their huge audience of well-informed sports fans. The UK is one of our most important markets with a large and growing fanbase able to watch our live races on free-to-air TV on Channel 4 and Eurosport. Our work with talkSPORT will further expand the fanbase of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship through full access to teams, drivers and all the key players involved in our races around the world. Season 9 is underway featuring the debut of the fastest, lightest, most powerful and efficient electric race car ever built – the GEN3 – and the biggest automotive names in motorsport including Porsche, McLaren, Maserati, Jaguar and Nissan. In the first four races we’ve seen more than a hundred overtakes, dozens of lead changes and daring moves plus some spectacular mistakes. talkSPORT fans will now get the full inside story from the Formula E track every week. We cannot wait to see what happens next.”

You can tune in to talkSPORT and talkSPORT 2 via its free online streaming service at talkSPORT.com, DAB digital radio, download the talkSPORT app, or ask your smart speaker to play talkSPORT or talkSPORT 2. talkSPORT is also widely available across the UK on 1089 or 1053 AM.
