Star Wars collectibles soar with StockX

On the online marketplace StockX, Star Wars products including collectibles, sneakers, and apparel are trading at premiums that far exceed their original retail price.

The resale platform has also seen an uptick in the number of unique Star Wars products listed on its site. Across all product categories, more than 1,000 different Star Wars-related products traded on StockX over the last 12 months. Just two years ago, only around 350 unique products were actively trading.

Notable collaborations and nostalgia marketing have helped fuel multi-generational love for Star Wars. Popular sneaker and streetwear brands like Kith, Nike, and adidas have tapped into the iconic imagery and themes from the franchise. In the collectibles space, brands such as Lego, Funko, and Bearbrick have released collaborative products, resulting in even more Star Wars memorabilia infiltrating the secondary market.
