Discussing the EP, Sonia explains: “This EP is my last project before crossing the threshold of motherhood. It’s a tour through my early and mid-twenties, owning parts of myself that once felt embarrassing or ‘too much’ with the compassion and humour I have now.”
On the titular track “Golden,” she adds: “It’s about growth, presence, doubt, acceptance, and discovering that peace and purpose aren’t destinations—they’re in the road you’re already on.”
