Sofitel has teamed up with Nespresso for a limited-edition La Haute Croissanterie experience that brings luxury pastries and expertly crafted coffee together in a playful new take on in-room dining.
Available from 1 September to 26 November 2026, the exclusive ‘Please Disturb’ Croissant & Coffee Pairing Menu will be available at 20 selected Sofitel hotels around the world, including Sofitel London Heathrow.
The collaboration brings together two iconic names inspired by French art de vivre, reimagining the classic café-croissant ritual as an indulgent in-room experience.
A New Take On The Classic French Café-Croissant Ritual
At the heart of the new experience is a playful twist on the traditional Do Not Disturb sign.
Rather than shutting the world out, Sofitel’s ‘Please Disturb’ concept invites guests to bring a little indulgence into their room. A specially designed door hanger becomes an invitation to order one of three exclusive croissant and coffee pairings, combining the creativity of Sofitel’s La Haute Croissanterie chefs with Nespresso’s coffee expertise.
The menu has been designed to turn a familiar French ritual into a more immersive gastronomic experience, with each pastry created to complement the flavours, aromas and textures of its accompanying coffee.
Three Exclusive Croissant And Coffee Pairings
Guests can choose from three signature pairings throughout the day.
Le Brûlé
The Le Brûlé pairing combines a Cappuccino Mousse Brûlée with a Crispy Honey Cream Croissant.
Almond provides a connection between the two creations, while notes of orange blossom, fresh orange zest and honey add further layers of flavour. The pairing is finished with a brûléed element, creating an indulgent option designed for the start of the day.
L’Epicé
For something richer and more adventurous, L’Epicé brings together an Oat Spicy Chocolate Coffee and a Coffee-Choco Exotic Croissant.
The pairing combines espresso and dark chocolate with tropical passion fruit and a hint of Sichuan pepper. Oat milk adds a smooth finish to the coffee, while the croissant features a coffee and chocolate ganache.
It is designed as a multi-sensory afternoon treat, bringing together sweetness, spice and acidity.
Le Tonique
The final option, Le Tonique, pairs an Iced Orange Espresso Tonic with a Paris Brest Croissant.
Hazelnut praline diplomat cream and roasted hazelnuts are balanced with the bitterness of tonic water and coffee, while orange zest and orange blossom water add a bright citrus finish.
The result is a refreshing yet indulgent option intended to be enjoyed later in the day.
Bringing Theatre To In-Room Dining
The ‘Please Disturb’ experience goes beyond traditional room service, with guests able to order their chosen pairing through in-room dining.
Each delivery includes a live finishing touch carried out in the room. Depending on the chosen pairing, this could include a brûléed sugar finish, aromatic citrus mist or freshly grated dark chocolate and Sichuan pepper.
From the presentation and glassware to the final flourish, the experience has been designed to transform a hotel room into a private tasting destination.
Anne-Cécile Degenne, Corporate Executive Chef at Sofitel Hotels & Resorts, said the partnership had helped elevate one of gastronomy’s most recognisable combinations.
“By combining the creativity of our pastry chefs with the expertise of Nespresso’s coffee experts, we have crafted a fresh expression of French art de vivre that guests can enjoy in the privacy of their own room,” she said.
Sacha Wittorski, Coffee Expertise & Mixology Specialist at Nespresso, added that the collaboration offered a new way to experience the brand’s coffee.
“Under our delightfully irreverent ‘Please Disturb’ concept, guests will be able to savour truly unique creations, born from the shared passion and craftsmanship of Sofitel and Nespresso.”
