In 2020 Netflix released what is now one of their most successful and beloved shows to date. Bridgerton, inspired by the novels of Julia Quinn, made an immediate impression, claiming the hearts of many period drama fans as well as non-fans with its incredible costumes, scandalous plot lines, and talented stars. Now season 2 of Bridgerton is premiering on 25 March 2022 in what is surely one of most anticipated Netflix releases of the year.

Get a sneak peek of season 2 with a behind the scenes tour given by Nicola Coughlan and Claudia Jessie who play Penelope Feathington and Eloise Bridgerton. Watch the Set Tour Featurette here.

The 2nd season, from Shondaland and Creator Chris Van Dusen, follows Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), the eldest of the Bridgerton siblings and Viscount, as he attempts to find a suitable wife.

Anthony is driven by his duty to uphold the family name, but the search for a debutante who meets his impossible standards seems doomed to fail until sisters Kate (Simone Ashley) and Edwina (Charithra Chandran) Sharma arrive from India. When Anthony begins to court Edwina, her older sister Kate discovers the true nature of his intentions (a match of true love is not high on his priority list) and decides to do everything in her power to stop the union. But in the attempt, Kate and Anthony’s verbal sparring matches prove to only bring them closer together, complicating matters on both sides.

Meanwhile, across Grosvenor Square, the Featheringtons must welcome the newest heir to their estate while Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) continues to navigate the ton whilst keeping her deepest secret from the people closest to her.

Bridgerton is a romantic, scandalous, and witty series that celebrates the timelessness of enduring friendships, families finding their way, and the search for a love that conquers all. Season 2 is sure to immerse us once again in the beautiful yet complicated world of the Bridgerton family.

The series also stars Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Lorraine Ashbourne (Mrs. Varley), Harriet Cains (Philipa Featherington), Bessie Carter (Prudence Featherington), Shelley Conn (Mary Sharma), Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington), Phoebe Dynevor (Daphne Basset), Ruth Gemmell (Violet Bridgerton), Florence Hunt (Hyacinth Bridgerton), Martins Imhangbe (Will Mondrich), Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton), Calam Lynch (Theo Sharpe), Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton), Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Luke Thompson (Benedict Bridgerton), Will Tilston (Gregory Bridgerton), Polly Walker (Portia Featherington), Rupert Young (Jack), and Julie Andrews as the voice of  Lady Whistledown.
