Shake Shack is taking comfort food to the next level this spring with the launch of its limited-time French Onion menu, available at all UK Shacks from 26 February to 20 May. Inspired by the rich, savoury flavours of the classic French onion soup, the new menu combines caramelised onions, Emmental cheese, crispy shallots, and roasted garlic mayo across some of Shake Shack’s signature favourites.
What’s on the French Onion Menu
Shake Shack fans can expect indulgent twists on burgers, sides, and drinks:

French Onion Burger (Single or Double) – Emmental cheeseburger topped with caramelised onions, crispy shallots, and roasted garlic mayo.

French Onion ‘Shroom – A crispy fried portobello mushroom filled with melted cheeses, finished with caramelised onions and roasted garlic mayo.

French Onion Shack Stack – Combines an Emmental cheeseburger with a ‘Shroom Burger, layered with caramelised onions and roasted garlic mayo.

Roasted Garlic Mayo Fries – Crinkle-cut fries smothered in roasted garlic mayo, parmesan, and spring onions.

Onion Rings – Beer-battered sweet Spanish onions served with roasted garlic mayo or tangy sour cream & onion sauce.

Chocolate Churros Shake – Hand-spun cinnamon churro frozen custard topped with spiced dark chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and chopped churros.

Pineapple Mint Lemonade – Refreshing pineapple purée and mint blended with house-made lemonade.
The menu is only available for a limited time, so burger lovers are encouraged to visit their local Shake Shack UK before it disappears on 20 May.
